Marci Strickland is a Sunday School writer for the Hearts Alive project. Marci attended East Carolina University in North Carolina where she studied Early Childhood Development and Family Life. She worked in the field for 12 years teaching young children in the classroom and served as her school’s Curriculum Resource Teacher for two years supporting and training teachers. She has spoken at teacher conferences about incorporating diverse learning practices in every classroom and successfully balancing core standards while teaching to individual learning styles. Marci was a recipient of bible stories, memory verses, and Sunday School hugs throughout her entire childhood. This is why she has served in Sunday School as a teacher or administrator since college. She has been blessed as a homeschooling mother for the past four years of her three beautiful children and is celebrating 18 years of marriage.
