The Book of Psalms: Hearts in a Bottle

The Psalms are the language of the heart when ordinary words fall short.

Instructor: Rich Lambert

Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm CST

Course Description: The Psalms are so filled with life, with threat, with hope, with faith, with worship, with fear, with anxiety—it’s like the psalmists wrung out their hearts in bottles and flung them out to the stars hoping God would catch them and answer. Do you need to fill and throw a few bottles of your own? Do you wonder if God will catch them and respond? Join us for an 11-week study learning to read and echo the Psalms like you’ve never done before.

The Sunrise of Salvation

The Book of Genesis is the Horizon of the
Christian Story

Instructor: The Rev. Joe Gibbes

Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Thursdays at 3:00 pm CST

Course Description: The Book of Genesis is the Origin Story—of creation, of humanity, of sin, and of divine redemption. It also is the Origin Story of humanity's understanding of God—of his mighty power, his all-encompassing sovereignty, his divine wrath, and his faithful love. This is the first root of the Christian story, for it is the narrative of Genesis that begins to ask the all important question: "How can a holy God have a relationship with his fallen people?" Come hear the hopeful message of Genesis.

Not Ashamed

A Study of the Book of Romans.

Instructor: The Rev. Charlie Holt

Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Mondays at 12:00 pm CST

Course Description: The Book of Romans has been called the Himalayas of the Bible. The Apostle Paul goes to great heights to develop the vision, theology, and practical application of the grand Gospel of God revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. The book is written to change the world—and your life. No other book in the Bible has been more instrumental in shaping reformations and revivals than the individual and group study of Romans. In this 16-week study, join the movement to scale these heights and grow in your personal understanding of the plan of God for all who dare to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord...Not Ashamed.

God With Us

A Study through the Gospel of Matthew.

Instructor: Brooke Holt

Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Wednesdays at 9:30 am CST

Course Description: The book of Matthew focuses on the continuation of God’s story from the Old Testament and how Jesus is the fulfillment of the Messianic prophecy. All of Scripture finds its fulfillment in him. Jesus comes to dwell among us to reveal the heart of the Father, to demonstrate how to live in relationship with the Father and with each other, and to make the way of salvation not just for the Jews but also the Gentiles.

Come along on this journey through Matthew to discern how God made himself known then and how he makes himself known now. Jesus shows us that God longs to live in relationship with his people, to heal his people, and to build his kingdom here on earth. Through the Gospel of Matthew, there is an awakening to God With Us! This course will be structured as a three-part series. Each part will be approximately 8 weeks.

The Spirit-Filled Life

All the Fullness of God

Course Description: A study for the season of Pentecost. Jesus gave us an amazing gift. Are we experiencing it? Jesus calls the Holy Spirit a “gift” who will guide us, lead us, and empower us. Yet many believers don’t experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

This 6-week course will explore what it truly means to “walk in the Spirit” on a daily basis. You’ll also strengthen the bonds of community as you grow together, allowing your lives to be powerfully changed by the truths you discover. It’s time to begin the journey to a Spirit-filled life!
