Hearts Alive: Children's Church (Year B, Summer)

Hearts Alive kicks off summer with a streamlined curriculum geared solely for children’s church. Students ages 4-11 will spend twelve weeks learning about Christian maturity and the Spirit-filled church in the context of a kid-friendly worship service and age-specific breakout groups. The Lesson and Liturgy teaching time will give children the experience of worshipping and learning in a large group context, while the small group time will give students an opportunity for hands-on application through crafts, games, and other engaging activities. Topics for summer sessions include:
  • Our eternal home
  • Being a new creation
  • Generosity
  • Adoption into God’s family
  • Walking in Christ’s character
  • Wise living
Hearts Alive, Year B Summer runs from June 10th through August 26th and partners with liturgical churches following the Revised Common Lectionary to provide engaging, gospel-centered lessons for children in age-appropriate ways. (Note: Other seasons include Sunday school curriculum for PreK-K, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary, as well as a Children’s Church segment.)
