It can be a source of malice and deceit or it can be a God given heart , made of flesh and alive with love for Jesus and one another. The goal of Hearts Alive non-denominational Sunday School curriculum is to introduce children to God through His word with a strong overview of the story of salvation and how it ties to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This three year course of study covers the entire bible and mirrors the liturgical cycles of the Revised Common Lectionary (Cycles A, B & C ). Special emphasis is given to the Gospel and integrating God’s word into a child’s faith life.
“Above all guard your heart, for
everything you do flows from it.”
Today's children grow up in a sophisticated world of stimulation and entertainment. Hearts Alive recognizes that keeping children connected and engaged can be a challenge and new approaches are necessary. Each lesson contains captivating content and a wide variety of activities that seeks to engage a child’s emotions and imagination.
Our writing team is composed of dedicated Christians and educators who craft each lesson with student’s intellectual and social abilities in mind. Story-telling, drama, crafts, games, and even science and math problem solving all contribute to an engaging and immersive experience.

What people are saying
“I like the format of having a welcome activity, introduction, scripture story/discussion etc. Because you have
provided so much content (this is a good thing) it allows us to pick what we think our students will like the best.
It is clear that you have put a lot of effort into creating the lessons, they are well written and heart felt”
“We teach for about 40-50 minutes each week so the length of the lessons appealed to us. We are on a limited
budget so the cost was a big factor. The PDF format is also nice because I can email the lessons to other
Rob FrostFormation Director, All Saints Episcopal, Hershey, PA
“It's Episcopal with an Evangelical flare! Very educational with a strong pedagogical element. I can tell educators have written it. It is more than just an arts and crafts class. I love the curriculum. It really gets into the scriptures and is very well thought out. Kids are engaged.”
Jason OdenChildren’s Ministry Director, Trinity Episcopal, Covington, KY
“(I like that Hearts Alive is) easy to read and implement. The object of the lesson relates to the scripture verses.
Craft and games are doable. There’s enough material to choose from.”
Nancy HarrellChildren’s Ministry Direction, Redemption Church, Frisco, TX
“I was looking for a new curriculum that could teach all classes the same story each week. I wanted families to
be able to sit down and have a conversation and ask questions that all their children could answer....
I love how the message is taught in ways that are applicable to learning at all ages. ... the activities, verses and
snacks all relate to the lesson. Kids learn in such different ways so different learning styles can relate to a
unique part of the lesson. Listening, tactile, games, eating, all reinforce the message. My teachers really love it
and we plan to continue to use it!”
