“My experience on Bible Study Media has been one of pure joy. I was a little unsure of what to expect when I first signed up but it has far surpassed my expectations. I have been thoroughly blessed during the daily devotionals to see God in ways I had not before. God has used The Resurrected Life series to open my eyes to a more full life that He wants for me. A blessing that came from mandatory quarantine is more time to contemplate His words and discuss them via Zoom with a variety of people that I would have never met before. I have enjoyed having a theme each week that focuses deeper into an aspect of what a Resurrected Life means and how to live it. It has encouraged me to connect with people from all over as we study what God is doing in each of our lives and build each other up to be all that God has called us to be. We all desire to see the blessings that He lavishly pours out on all of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose."
“I am a senior in isolation living in Canada. I was searching for a Bible Study online and found this site! I joined in late at class 4 and was welcomed to a wonderful group of folks studying the book of Genesis, led by a fabulous teacher and priest. I loved the study and was privileged to be part of it!”
“I learned a lot, not only from Charlie, but the others who took this course. The discussions really gave me different aspects of the verses and I really appreciate what you do!”
“Bible Study Media is great. The content is easy to navigate and biblically reliable. I am glad to recommend BSM material to my parishioners.”
“The study was so meaningful during this time in our world. It not only taught me about hope, but it gave me hope.”
“The course was excellent with good exegesis of the passage and practical application. The design executes good education principles. Thank you!”
A Study of the Book of 1 Thessalonians
Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Mondays at 12:00 pm CST
Course Description: Learn how to seek divine approval and not man’s approval so that you may walk in a way that delights the Lord.
At the heart of Paul’s message to the Thessalonians is a call to maintain their focus on pleasing God rather than men. The church in Thessalonica was passionate in their zeal for the Lord. However, they were easily swayed by external intimidation and internal confusion.
The challenges may have stemmed from the way they were founded as a congregation. This letter is a real encouragement to any church or individual struggling with trials in this life. It also can be a powerful warning against idle Christianity, which is so prevalent among comfortable Christians in times of ease and plenty.
A Study through the Gospel of Matthew.
Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Wednesdays at 9:30 am CST
Course Description: The book of Matthew focuses on the continuation of God’s story from the Old Testament and how Jesus is the fulfillment of the Messianic prophecy. All of Scripture finds its fulfillment in him. Jesus comes to dwell among us to reveal the heart of the Father, to demonstrate how to live in relationship with the Father and with each other, and to make the way of salvation not just for the Jews but also the Gentiles.
Come along on this journey through Matthew to discern how God made himself known then and how he makes himself known now. Jesus shows us that God longs to live in relationship with his people, to heal his people, and to build his kingdom here on earth. Through the Gospel of Matthew, there is an awakening to God With Us! This course will be structured as a three-part series. Each part will be approximately 8 weeks.
The Psalms are the language of the heart when ordinary words fall short.
Weekly Live Teaching & Group Discussion: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm CST
Course Description: The Psalms are so filled with life, with threat, with hope, with faith, with worship, with fear, with anxiety—it’s like the psalmists wrung out their hearts in bottles and flung them out to the stars hoping God would catch them and answer. Do you need to fill and throw a few bottles of your own? Do you wonder if God will catch them and respond? Join us for an 11-week study learning to read and echo the Psalms like you’ve never done before.
A Study of the Book of Exodus
Weekly Video Teaching & Live Group Discussion: Thursdays at 12:00 pm CST
Course Description: The Book of Exodus is one of the greatest love stories ever told. God is revealed as Yahweh, the Great “I AM.” He is the transcendent, all-powerful creator of all things who defeated the greatest powers of the earth. This same God would have his people know and love him in an intimate and personal way. Ultimately, the Exodus story will become our own story as the Great “I Am” visits his people in the person of Jesus Christ who, through his cross and resurrection, brings us through a New Exodus from the spiritual forces of evil, sin, and death.
